How To Use Twitter For Small Businesses

Twitter for Business, is the new way to increase your online exposure. Today I will be talking about 4 important techniques that every small business owner needs to know.

Tip #1: People love coupons, who wouldn't want 5%, 10% or even 20% off coupons. When offering those kinds of deals to your followers, you will be able to weed out your buyers from your none buyers.

Tip #2: Don't always sell to your followers, listen to them. Make your followers feel that they made the right decision in following you. You will lose followers fast, if they feel you're not listening. Always, remember to listen and engage.

Tip #3: I know you're very familiar with the term, Google Search Engine. But, have you ever heard of Twitter Search? A lot of people out there, are true Twitter Search believers. They believe, that Twitter is becoming the new search engine. If you are a small business owner looking to find which keyword responds best to your market demand; doing Twitter searches, is by far the best way to go.

Tip #4: Have you ever thought about doing a customer survey? As your Twitter followers really start to grow, you as the business owner can ask them (followers) a burning question or topic. You will be amazed on how many of your followers respond.

Remember to treat your followers the way you would want to be treated. Don't sound mechanical, when interacting with your followers. Make them feel that you really do want to engage in a conversation.
